Many of the Wiltshire circles have centred around the ancient stone monument at Avebury, itself made up of a complex series of circles. Here, a small grass circle is situated at ground-zero, surrounded by stones. Later, just beyond this ridge (which marks the monument's perimeter), the massive 'Spider's Web' appeared over two nights.
